City received question on On September 3, 2020 Subject: Hangar D Request for Proposal No. 2020-001

On September 3, 2020, the City received the following question: For the preliminary plans, is that something professionally drafted, sketch from builder, sketch and outline from myself, or descriptions of what work is to be performed?   

The response to the question is as follows: Plans prepared by a professional, (builder, architect, engineer etc.) are not required with submittal of the proposal.   Once a proposal is selected plans prepared by a professional may be required in order to secure a building permit.

On September 8, 2020, the City received a telephone call from a prospective proposer who asked if a proposal including plans to install flooring material is acceptable or must the plans specify the flooring material (carpet, tile etc.)?

The response to the question is as follows: While specification is preferred plans to install unspecified flooring material will be considered.
