Airport Advisory Board
COMPOSITION: The Airport Advisory Board is composed of five (5) regular members appointed by the City of Burnet City Council, Burnet County, Texas.

TERMS: Two (2) years
MEETINGS: The Airport Advisory Board meets on the third Thursday of every month at 2:00 PM. Meetings are held at the Council Chambers, 2302 S Water Street, Burnet, Texas. Meetings are open to the public.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Airport Advisory Board shall be an advisory board to City Council. The Airport Advisory Board makes recommendations to the City Council regarding operations and facility improvements of the municipal airport. Its recommendations may be presented to City Council as needed.
The Airport Manager or designee shall provide the Advisory Board with all information necessary for the performance of its duties and keep a record of all transactions.
MEMBERSHIP: Membership on the Airport Advisory Board is nonrestrictive. Membership is approved by the City Council. Open positions are posted on the City website and/or local newspapers. Applicants may complete an application. (City of Burnet- Board and Commission Application Form) or contact the City Secretary at (512) 715-3209 expressing their desire to serve on the Airport Advisory Board. The City Council approves appointments to the Board for a two-year term. Continuation on the Board requires re-application and approval by the Council.
