What should I do if my trash cart was lost or damaged in the flood?
If your trash or recycling cart was lost, displaced, or damaged during the recent flooding event, please email utilities@cityofburnet.com to report the issue. We will coordinate with the service provider to replace your cart as soon as possible.
Please include your service address and a brief description of the issue in your message.

What do I do with my debris?
- Place all flood-related debris and brush at the curb.
- Separate hazardous materials (e.g., pesticides, paint, appliances with Freon) from general debris when possible.
- The City has coordinated with the County to establish an emergency debris site-
- Disposal for Burnet County Flood Debris Only- Bring debris to the Burnet Recycle Center located at 2421 FM 963 Burnet, TX 78611
- Debris may be dropped of Monday-Friday 8am-5pm until further notice
- Please sort items separately: Appliances, Electronics, Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), Construction & Demolition (C&D), and Brush
- You must unload your items yourself
- Disposal for Burnet County Flood Debris Only- Bring debris to the Burnet Recycle Center located at 2421 FM 963 Burnet, TX 78611

Yes. Trash collection will continue to run on it's regular schedule.
